The room itself is not not bad, but internet late afternoon or evenings can be very slow, and very often there is no connection. Staff and management are very friendly and providing services always with a smile. Air-condition was not working properly, sometimes not at all, sometimes very cold and cannot be adjusted properly. Room could be made more sound-proof. I was affected more by the people in other rooms than the music from the clubs downstairs. Did not stay at the hotel walked pass and decided to have a beer at the bar.
The bar on the right hand side is a meat market for African ladies not my taste so moved to the bar on the left hand side which was quiet and decent. Ordered a mutton curry Pakistan style and it was spicy and tender: very good to go with rice and beer! Then checked out the club on the 1st floor and boy, it is serious meat market with Eastern Europeans and Chinese ladies Nice hotel everything around on place yark international hotel is located at meena bazar bur Dubai. Metro station ak fahidi is very nearest and all other international hotel also near its best for shopping and visiting. The only good thing was that the room itself was at least clean, I believe because the housekeeping staff is efficient. Problems: The bathroom was small and in need of a complete renovation. The key to the room never did work, and we ended up having to use an actual key.
